Hi and sorry to ask this basic question but I don't get my box for two weeks now as it's in UK and I'm in Spain so am getting as much info as poss to set it up when it arrives with my son. I have a 500mb sata 2.5 laptop drive (nothing special) and intend to fit into the box. My question is if I set everything including EPG to save in media/hdd will this be directed to the internal disk or will I still need to insert a formatted (fat32) usb pen drive. I take it there is also a choice on settings menu to initialize the drive. It's not formatted yet. Thanks for any advice.

get a kingston 8gb usb stick if needing to flash box and when not needed i use mine in rear for epg to store to,if ever i have an issue i can reformat and setup again.you can if you wish store to internal hdd.if both are setup you get a choice of where to send epg to.box will setup both if needed.
