Zgemma 2S to Zgemma H.2S - Hard drive question?

Just upgraded from the Zgemma 2S box to the new Zgemma H2S. I was using the sucumsee vix image on the 2S and hopefully I will run the H2S on the standard Opentv image. The question I have when I swap the two boxes over is there a need to reinitialise the external hard drive? Because there are a number of recordings that I would like to keep if possible.

No need to initialise the hard drive once flashed turn box of insert hard drive then just check it's mounted and epg and recordings are showing your device

Thanks for the information, because I dont intend to flash the box (using standard OpenTV image) is it just a matter of connecting the hard drive up before tuning the channels etc?

Yes after scanning abm make sure mounts are correct the epg and recordings are going to media/hdd
