Hi im going abroad for about a month or so was wondering if i can watch the zgemma channels on my iPad thought a app or something like that

yes and no. You can't normally by default because of the firewall on your router.

You can but you would have to set up port forwarding etc on your router to allow access to your box from outside of your home network which is not a great idea for security.
