What external storage is best for a zgemma? Is an external HDD that's usb powered ok or a usb stick?

I just got zgemma h2h on virgin what best to use for epg USB sandisk or external hard drive? Also what size should I get I don't really do much recoding

EPG files aren't big, apparently not over 100mb, but I haven't checked mine.

illd go for the hard drive large usb sticks have got a good rep for being fake could be genuine but I wouldn't risk it
