Cable Zgemma h2h Signal strength to high. Can anyone help?

Hello TK

I recently got a h2h with a vermin line and am having problems with channels pixelating and sometimes even cutting out. upon checking my signal strength it reads SNR:229% - AGC: 7% - BER: 0. I tried a new splitter to see if that helped and it hasn't. Thats about as far as my tech skills go on the matter so was hoping someone here could help me out. Anything else i could try?

It looks like somebody is trying to fix the false signal issue on mine it showed 29% then 229% now 69% that's on openatv

recheck your using good quality cables and good connections.splitter in use 5-1000 mhz??

I thought the higher signal the better

This used to be the way with analogue signals, but with digital, it can't be too low or too high as it will cause pixellation/breakup.

The splitter says 5-2400 mhz on it. Is that the problem do you think? The first splitter i had was 5-1000 but the guy i got the box from reckons that was the problem as it was an ancient splitter so he gave me this one. so I have the cable coming into the house>Splitter then one cable into my internet and one cable with a attenuator then into the zgemma

VM install Tratec/eco-tec 5-1000mhz ones so certainly worth trying yes

So the 5-1000 mhz is the one to use..... I know I sound thick but I also had the 5-2400 mhz. Could that cause a problem not scanning all the channels

VM use tratec splitters, 5- 1000mhz, personally I would use one of these.
Decent copper core cable and not copper clad cable.
Make sure all your connections are good.
