Zgemma s2 initial channel

Hi there, I've just installed my new Zgemma box and one annoying thing is that when it starts up it defaults to a useless channel. Initially, this channel was 'dvb setup' or something along those lines, however I deleted this channel and now it just goes onto nothing. I have to go into the epg to navigate away from this.

Is there any way to change a setting so it defaults to say, bbc1? Thanks
 
Yes, press the EPG button, press Menu then scroll down to start mode and move along to channel 1 then hit green to save, restart your box.

I had already tried that, so went back thru it just to make sure I had done it correctly and it still doesn't work.

I'm using the sky skin and channel '1' should be bbc 1, but when the box boots it doesn't go to any channel, just a 'open atv' logo
 
Go to the channel you want it to start on, say BBC1 as an FTA one is always best so you know box has rebooted, press down arrow on the remote, then when the list appears press menu on the remote and then select "set as start up service" save and exit. Reboot and try it. HTH.
