zGemma-Star 2s AutoTimer Error

Hello all,

I have a zGemma-Star 2s using mtpockets latest firmware package with a nline which works fine, and includes a usb external 100gb FAT32 hard drive setup correctly and permanently attached....

My missus asked me to start recording Hollyoaks for her which is on everyday of the week at 7pm, so i decided to create an auto timer for it, however when the program is due to record a quick popup appears on screen with something along the lines of "Critical disc write error! Disk Full?" and then nothing, the program does not record at all.

If i set a manual record timer the box records it just fine.

Anyone know what could be causing the issue here?

Your HDD MUST be formatted tp Ext4 for record to work.

yes, as dumbguy said format the HDD to Ext4 and then mount it within settings and then make sure recording are set to your HDD and you'll be fine. But then your box may have viewing taste and just not like Hollyoaks lol

The HDD is ext4, still same issue, also note i can record manually and timeshift works fine.

Autotimer always fails.
