Zgemma USB Stick Storage Issues

Hey, Hope someone can help me out. I have a Zgemma S2 put in my brothers house. First i installed a 64gb Toshiba USB for recording, epg ect. This USB is now dead. I mean completely dead. Cant format on Windows or Mac. Dead as dead can be. Next i put in a Philips 64gb USB. This failed and is now Write Protected which more or less means its dead too.

I had another 64gb USB and this is now giving him an error "Write Error While Recording. Disk Full?" This happened an hour after me leaving on a brand new 64gb USB stick. I Initialized through Zgemma S2. Mounted USB as Hard Drive. Saved Mount location. Restrated box. Loaded EPG. Tested rewind record each time.

I have done this same set up numerous times before with no difficulties. I'm stumped. If someone has an idea why this could be happening i would be grateful.

Using Openvix.
Thanks.

If be astounded if it was dead. Windows (can't speak for Macs) cant read Linux ext4 drives, that's all.
I Get the exact same issue when I put any microsd cards or usb sticks from my Raspberry pi2 into my pc. I need to low level format them if I want to re use them.
Get the low level format tool, run a low level format, and that will sort it out.

Tried the Low Level Format. Done a quick format first. Says the USB is write protected. Without quick selected just doesn't move from 0%. Put a new Philips 64GB into my H2S and same thing happend. Write protected the USB. Going to order new Kingston or Sandisk USBs.
