zgemma will not work on talktalk urgent please!!!

Hi all,

I have 4 friends in 4 different locations and boxes will not connect to server but will at my house?

They are on talktalk and i am on kingston internet

done all of this

checked with supplier and said talktalk not a problem
re-flashed with sucmnsee latest image
restarted router
restarted box
restarted mgcamd
no parental settings on router
connection on internet is fine

any ideas please and strange as all are on talktalk

Just a long shot have they got all parentel contols (homesafe?) switched off on talktalk?

I was with talktalk and had no problems.

Have you tried changing yours dns to google's or the likes, 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8, on the box or router? Can you download plugins?

sorry dont know what you mean about dns? how would you do this

not checked plugins but tsmedia connects ok?

If ts media connects it's Deffo not Internet connection.

are you on vix, if so press menu, setup, system, network, device setup, adapter settings, change Use DHCP to no and then press the blue button and change it to google's 008.008.004.004 and/or 8.8.8.8, green to save, once restarted to a network test and see how it goes.
Maybe do a network test before any changes?

U can also try turning the fire wall off in the modem settings.

I was TT too and connected first time no probs.

we now believe talktalk has blocked it
