Viark VIARK TYPE BOXES

Can anyone throw any light on this? Viark 4K box. Channels showing as yellow, but not clearing. Checking Network settings & is connected to internet fine. Showing as PT Connected. Trying any channel gets me Buffering first, then scrambled channel.
BUT, unplugging the ethernet cable from the back of the box, then enables a scrambled channel to clear for maybe 10 seconds before stopping. Router has been rebooted a few times, box rebooted a few times, disconnected PT & reconnected.
How does it suddenly clear (briefly) when I unplug the ethernet cable? 🤔
Firmware reinstall maybe worth a try I don't have that box just what I would do on a GTmedia V8

Do you have ethernet and wifi aerial in at same time?

Only ethernet. I've not changed anything from the past few months. I was thinking there might be some kind of IP conflict but I can't figure what just yet. I'm thinking it must be my local network though, because unplugging the ethernet cable does briefly open a channel. Strange though that is

Well, Factory Reset via the remote control/box menu doesn't seem to have helped, so I'll try reloading the firmware from USB. IS it just a case of USB stick in, MENU/NET&GAMES/USB then selecting the 1.14 bin file and loading it?

Yes mate install 1.14 from usb
Then put channel list back on.
Also make a static i.p address
Give that a go.

Looks like reloading FW from USB stick might have fixed my issue. Scanned 19.2e & tried a scrambled channel and it's opened ok. I'll try 28.2e next, then assuming that is good, do the rest. Then load channels list back on.

***Does anyone know, if I'm loading a channel list back on, do I still need to scan each satellite, or is that taken care of when loading the channel list?***

All taken care of when loading your backup list

Well, no idea what went wrong, but reloading FW from USB, then adding channel list back on has me sorted. Thanks for the tips/advice everyone.

As a bonus, I've now even been able to add my newly delivered Sat switch so both the Viark & Vu+ Solo2 can control my motor dish. All seems to work ok. No signal quality loss on UK, I'll need to check other sats tomorrow.

Menu-Net&Games-USB then press sat key then 1113 on your remote.
Sat key ??
Menu - Net&Games- USB ....can't find Sat key :)
