Hello everyone, I will explain how to return to a lower FW PT, we have to have a USB properly formatted in FAT32, then we put the FW PT that we want, it is also valid to install the original v.7.00, I have not tried with lower ones.
1. Format a USB to FAT32.
2. Rename the software to "update.bin" and copy to the USB. (in my case I have put UPDATE.BIN in uppercase).
3. With the Viark completely disconnected from the power supply, we insert the front USB.
4. Connect the power supply and press (hold down) the POWER button on the front of the receiver.
5. The letters USB will appear and without stopping pressing the POWER button, we wait until the letters "-ES-" appear (it takes a while) on the display, at that moment we release it and the recovery will begin, we must wait for it to do all the sequence and leave it until the deco restarts
Note: if the recovery fails, try several more times, as it sometimes fails.

an employee of abel.tv told me that it is also possible to save the program list directly on the viark sat 4k

So you have 2 choices? Follow the advice of everyone on here, use a USB stick and the clear instructions on how to do it or save yourself a few Euros, don't get a USB stick, and see if you can figure out a different way of saving the info to the satellite box, moments before you then wipe it clean by doing a factory reset/Reflash 🤷♂️

Well, I don't suppose it would work. I would have thought it would clear anything you have saved on the box when you reset it. But you seem to really not want to spend a few Euros on a USB stick.
They are not worth listening to then.. The Viark is wiped directly after flashing 1.15 .
Its good practise to do a further factory reset as well in my opinion.
And you wonder if your the only user with all your problems. You are because you do not take the advice given to you.

If only there were a solution to you not owning a USB stick. Let me think on it overnight & see if I can come up with a solution. 🤔🤔

If you do not own a usb stick how did you put the original pt software on the box. They do not come pre-loaded with the software and you cannot do an over-the-air update.
People have given you advice and you do not seem to want to listen. I would listen to the advice given or you might not be visiting the forum for much longer. 👍

I'm just testing my sat 4k now. after updating to 1.15. I've turned chmax off and reinstalled my channel list. Funny I had to re enter the lon and lat and it gave a wierd location out.
People with families if playing with the IPTV be carefull of going into apollo5 night as this seems to be were the porn lives.

It kinda makes SP2 worth considering now.Not the porn 😆 the Live and Flex.

They are both available both live and flex. Live has the UK sport ect and they are working and the flex is movies and series. Are they supposed to be sp2?

SP2 only DE IT and UK, handy IPTV backup. Not sure if IPTV is available at all on SP1.

I'm just going to test on the viark sat, I did a usb update on the sat 4k but i am trying to online update of the viark sat. I will let you know shortly.

After I tweaked the box a bit it seemed ok. Have you turned the chmax option off in the menu system as this takes up memory. I also turned my box on and off after the new software install. Tell me what channels are not working and I can test tonight for you.
