What's new

UK Sat HD is back - 2023.

Is icam locking tuners for anyone else?

For example when I am on channel 401 using tuner A (28.2E fixed dish), and then move to channel 402 on the remote, it will start using Tuner B (USALS motor) and turn it to 28.2E.

If I then go to 101 and then to 402 it will use tuner A as usual.

Not sure why its behaving this way..

I dont recognize those channel numbers, but if you're viewing a stream relay channel then watch a none stream relay channel or visa versus it will do that. If both are stream relay im not sure why .

Yeah, its fine if I switch from 401 (Skysports Main Event) to 101 (BBC HD) and then back to 401

But if I go from 401 to 402 it will start using tuner B and rotate the motor dish.

Yes same behaviour on my box too. Some sort of delay from the tuner to recognise it is not using stream rely anymore. I am using same work around as you. Switch channel to a FTA channel first.

If you disable USALS then it will work after a slightly delay I think and you can change 401 to 402.

I have been going through all the posts, I wonder if someone can answer a question, what is the difference between a cline , nline and icam ?

Cline, nline and oscam are just different methods used to connect to your providers server basically, icam is the method used to encrypt/decrypt channels

Someone will probably reply with a more technical explanation but that's the basic differences

ok so i assume it is down to the provider what i would require

Basically you can now view encrypted channels
With the latest version off oscam ncam which
have the icam patch Both versions are configured in the similar ways enabling the stream relay caids You will need unique stream relay channel list which is set up correctly in customised settings The version off oscam needs updated sometimes and the channel.list

Thanks for your reply i think i need to have a bit more of a read up
