Crypto for IPTV

Hi all

I've been trying out some new suppliers from the thread, and I was offered a decent service, however payments were to be made in Crypto, if I want to use PayPal F&F then the subs way more expensive, is this the way IPTV is going now, is it a security thing? I know next to nothing about Crypto, so is this something I'll need to get my head around for the future? any thoughts appreciated.

Just use someone else, they're like buses on here.

Yeah I realise that mate, I'm just wondering if this is the way they're all going and if it's something I need to get my head around.
I can't speak for all the resellers on here, but none of my friends pay via crypto to any of their suppliers and they all use mostly different suppliers afaik

I think alot of people feel uneasy about crypto, but if you create a wallet on Coinbase for example, buy the amount of bitcoin you require and then send that payment to another wallet it really isn't much different to using paypal or a bank transfer.

Buy USDT or USDC if not bitcoin since bitcoin can fluctuate quite a bit. Quite a few fee free networks for both USDT and USDC but you need to verify your identity to transfer and not everyone is comfortable doing that. You could buy crypto from a P2P network but that's even more sketchy. Fewer fees on Crypto and more anonymous for the buyer and seller though.

I tried Crypto once, someone suggested Safemoon, so my son set me up and we bought £250 worth, it's now worth about 12p, hence my reluctance to look into it again.

Quite alot are going down crypto route I mean bitcoin fees are mad.

But you must factor those in so if a sub is £50 buy £52.50 of crypto.

Revoult is easy to buy crypto coinbase is easy.

But not all insist on crypto payments.

If you are going to pay with crypto see if the seller takes stable coins because they don’t really fluctuate.
It’s not like investing buying stable coins.
There are also services like Bitpay and Paybis that you can use to pay someone in crypto using a card.

I'll not be paying by crypto coin, until I really have to, I'll just continue to move suppliers until there's none left that take PayPal etc, If I could I pay cash.

 Pay

I don't actually know that many who take paypal now.
That was the point of my original question, it seems that a lot of them are siding with crypto now, having been on here since the card sharing days I've always used PayPal for payments, but a lot are now saying crypto in the replies to the IPTV supplier thread, I've never noticed the shift as I don't ask for new suppliers that often.

Is it the PayPal safety that you are after with their refund policy?

I use friends and family so there's no refund policy for that anyway, it's just the ease of use and also the being a bit thick with regards to Crypto in general, hence why I said....."I know next to nothing about Crypto, so is this something I'll need to get my head around for the future? any thoughts appreciated."........in the original post, it would seem I'll need to get my head around it after all.

Doesn’t paying with PayPal give the seller your real name and billing address?

I don’t see how that’s more secure than crypto. It’s just more familiar to people.
