AFTV all videos stutter, whether this be Amazon Prime, BBC IPlayer, Terrarium. Tried all display resolutions. It's not my internet as same apps are perfect on my smart tv, phone and tablets.

Fire TV is hard wired.

Any ideas?

I will give it a go. I just always assumed WiFi would be worse, but saying that I have firesticks upstairs on WiFi and they play fine.

Latest updates installed on fire tv. Also tried on WiFi only and it's no better. Might have to get rid and buy a cheap android box. I only want it for things like terrarium tv/show box.

Could always uninstall and then reinstall apps bit of a ball ache but worth a shot mate

Have you cleared all the app data from the services you are having trouble with. Settings/applications/manage installed applications/ force stop/ clear data. Repeat for each app followed by restart. One other thing is to try different hdmi ports on tv, my lg only plays high res content on the fire tv through hdmi 1, no idea why it just doesn't like the fire tv I think.

The HDMI is an interesting point. My tv is an LG and it's plugged into HDMI 2 so I will change it and see what happens. Tried all the clearing cache and data, plus uninstall and reinstall with no improvements.

Changing Fire TV to HDMI port 1 seemed to solve the issue on my LG tv. Thanks for all the inputs and sugestions :👍:
