Amiko Alien 2

hi all got an amiko alien 2 box im having trouble with it connecting to lines please note that these lines are working on my blade media box . I type the box ip into the browserthen:8888 like i was showed by a bloke to add the line . Im getting no joy what so ever anyone have any pointers why or a way around it ? I dont know how to add line from usb im not quite knowledgable on the box at all any help will be appreciated . It does have a sky skin on it and it says oscam sever and on the menu it says vix4blue in the corner

have you loaded your oscam file onto the box. You need to FTP the file to the box and download the plugin to run the oscam. PM me and I will send you a link that will help

for the line I'm pretty sure its menu> internet > net client config> if using N then use Newcamd, if using C then its CCcam

best images for the alien2 are HDMU and pkt, for beginners id say pkt (unless your on spark)

dont take anyone on when they try and tell you use cccam, doesnt work on the a2 in enigma2 never will never has, best use oscam

The box has vix4project enigma firmware can i ftp the line across if so what directory folders would you save the line in? thanks in advance.

softcam is in plugins install latest oscam softcam from there
also if in uk you will need to make oscam.dvapi blank or channels wont clear
all found in usr/keys oscam.server will need to be edited with yours

Is the oscam.dvapi already configured or is this something i can download. not used oscam before only magamcd and cccam thanks in advance

use can use the oscam web interface go to your ip:8888 (not used hdmu for while could be :83)
in there you should see files at the top, in there you can change your files

Have used web interface and ftp and changed the oscam.server file but channels not clearing. same line using mcamd on different box works fine. I am at a loss with this Alien 2 box. channels okay on spark but not on enigma 2? using vix image with oscam for sh4

you should have something like that on your oscam.server file change detail to suit, switch cam on and reboot

if its vix4 then poor your sorry but people know my views on vix4 and lavatronics

Must have tried about 10 different images on this alien box could not get it working. Then found a image you put on linuxsat-support forum last year loaded this, it worked first time. Great image all set up nothing to done thanks for this and your other help.
