Audio heavily out of sync on some channels.

I've noticed that a few of my IPTV channels have a considerable audio sync problem, the channel I'm currently watching has the audio playing approximately 10 seconds before the video. Most channels are fine though. Is there anything I can do to fix it or is this problem with my provider?

Last night another channel was badly out of sync but tonight that channel is fine.

I have already tried restarting the box, it's an Enigma 2 machine running OpenATV and Wooshbuild.
 
Access the plugins menu by pressing green on your remote when watching TV

Press green to download plugins

Go extensions

Find Audio sync

Download it

When watching a channel with sync issues, press

Audio>blue>you should now be able to alter the sync of audio to picture using the scroll bar.

10 secs is a lot the though, so contact provider. But the above is a good patch
 
I had a problem similar to that with iptv and changing the player solved it!! If using Jedi try the 5002 or service app!! Or if you have more than one option on channels like HD FHD and SD see if it is out of sinc on all or just one!!

Won't that ruin the sync on the channels that aren't affected?
 
I use an android tv box and have had this , changing channel and then going back to original sorts it when it is so far out
 
I’ve been getting this out of sync issue a lot lately with the Indian channels....most of the English channels seem fine though...tried various trials, apps and video players but seems the same for the Indian channels...been using firestick 4K and apps like xciptv,tivimate,duplex,nanomid player....could this be due to a supplier having a poor stream for those channels??
 
Not sure what box you are using if you are on android download mx player pro add custom codecs that will fix most issues.

If other channels seem fine and you having audio issues with indian channels then likely its stream source issue?

You raised it with your provider?

Provider said to download vlc player and try that...or even try exo player...briefly tried the vlc player seems ever so slightly better audio sync

It also comes down to having the right codecs as some players can be iffy with playback.
 
When using VLC you can stop or pause the stream and adjust sound from box on left to plus or minus!! This feature can be used on live content as well if in player section you enable VLC for live!!
 
Alot of providers have there world channels set to on demand and not live hence why UK channels are fine as they are live.
which in theory all they can do is give them a kick and hopefully that works if not report to source or move them to live
