HI i am unable to find the correct section to put this in so if i'm incorrect then i apologize in advice, now on to my problem i have just bought a edision os-mini, seemed like a good box until i switched it on 1 day and the box says boot then the box screen goes off then theirs nothing on the tv screen, even though i can FTP to the box, i have flashed the bootloader and reloaded openvix ---- help i'm completely stuck.

Hi no the tv says no signal and the screen on the box doesnt show anything after the word boot goes off.
 
how is your box connected to the tv hdmi or scart cable. check your tv is on the correct tv setting to receive from your box.
 
explain more what happens when you boot up. why did you flash the bootloader. what does the boot say on the front panel when you start to flash vix.
 
Hi i flashed the booloader because WOS told me to, when i said i had a problem, when i flashed vix the panel said 1of3 up to 3of3 and then rebooted when it had finished. The panel then says BOOT and i get the OPENVIX splash screen on the tv and then the panel goes blank and so does the screen, i thoght it was off as the remote didnt do anything but i can FTP to it and browse files.
 
when you put the usb stick in with the box switched off. you start the box. did you get the prompted on your TV screen.
 
Yeah it prompted me to press and hold select for 10 seconds to flash

may be a fault with the box, get in touch with WOS they will ask you to send it back to then for testing.
 
double check the file been used is for correct model of box and sat or cable in case of different files and when downloaded files are extracted to usb.

download a fresh copy of file also.
