Morning all
Apologies if this has been asked before or Ive posted in the wrong section. I searched but my search-foo didn't find anything on the forum.
I've got two sky stream pucks that I tried back when they first launched. They are not loaned, I own them outright. I no longer subscribe to whole home and these boxes are now basically paperweights, they boot up then say whole home required.
Does anyone know if there is a way to either root these devices or enable the tv aerial port so that they can be used as simple freeview tv boxes? I've tried plugging in a tv aerial however it doesn't detect my aerial. Ive also read that the aerial port is disabled on boxes used in the UK and they are only present as they are required by law in other countries where these services are sold.
Be great if I could get this working as a freeview tv box.
Appreciate any help you can provide.
Cheers :)
