Didnt try it on my Shield used android boxes. Did not report anything wired or wireless just got a splash screen then gone.

100% convinced its becuase it detects hdmi out

Did try on sheild it knew it was a wired connection

Wired what though Ethernet or HDMI ? Does it still report wired if you use wifi ?

Nope just says this device is incompatible could be because sheild uses TV android

I assume formuler use a modified version of android. Maybe with the modified code their app looks for a clean version of android only, knowing that other devices use their own modified versions too

It dose use mobile android but which version I don't know there are loads. Could be looking for anything to be honest.
