Hi Just wanted to know if anyone knows how i get the freesat channels showing in spain on my Smart TV.
I have a communial sattelite feed - getting about 7mb download using express VPN on the phone , 10mb without VPN
I have connected the sat cable direct to smart tv and it shows 300+ channels programmed, many SKy channels. 95% of these channels require a CI module and willnow play, but about 15 will , including smithsonian channel but no BBC or ITV?
I am not really bothered about subscription channels as I am on holiday and have my own apartment here in southern spain. I just want to view the BBC freesat channels etc
one thing i did on set up of the LG TV was to select Spain as geographical location before I searched for the channels. - If I had selected UK as location - would that have loaded the BBC etc? not sure if i need to do a complete reset on the channels and set up or do i have to buy a box or something to view freesat.
I do know several bars and otehrs who do get IPTV sky channels over here?
