installing ipk files

hi i installed slyk 1 hd v5 on atv and couldnt get planner/movie screen to skin so i changed skin to default and deleted sly1hd folder from usr/share/enigma2 thinking i could re install now it wont install the ipk just starts installing and after a few seconds says 0 was installed/upgraded ? should i have removed something else aswell ?

The reason you couldn't get the movie player to skin was probably because Enhanced Movie Center is default on OpenATV. You just need to disable it or remove it in plugins.
The best way to reinstall the skin is to download Universal Extractor and extract the ipk file and copy it over manually via ftp.
