Is it possible to unscramble channels on my skybox f3

How long ago did you buy the box? How long was the gift supposed to last?
Have you checked everything at your end first to make sure your internet is still working? Try some obvious things first, like turning the router off & on. Had you played about with any menu settings before it stopped working?
In the F3 menu, go to "network local settings > "camds setup" > "cccam client setup" > "manage config files" > "cccam.cfg". There should be an entry in there with the word "online" and a green tick next to it. If it says offline, then get in touch with the person you bought the box from & let them know.
Threre's no need to buy another box. Watching $ channels is just down to one line in the CCcam.cfg menu.
If you don't see the "camds setup" option in "network local settings", then pres 6666 on the remote.

Yes, I know it was a lot of money.... Didn't realise at the time as we thought we was getting a really good deal! I know it's sounds ludicrous but we brought it because of the Irish channels, TG3 & 4, RT1 & 2 tina G :-(
only had it on for a few months.....

ive tried everything now still saying offline with a green tick. The guy we brought it from has disappeared, although I hate to admitted it but we actually thought it was a fantastic offer.... Seems like we weren't the only plonkers to have fallen for this scam...

If all efforts to contact your supplier has failed, then you will have to pay for another line.
There is a thread on these forums where you can ask for a recommendation. Perhaps ask for a test line first to make sure all is OK.

Hi I had same problems go to network settings an press ok then you Wil see it shows Ethernet under that it will say active or setup highlight set up and go to hsdc an make sure it turned on if it says off turn it on then go down to apply :) I'm so happy I have just got mine to work

were did you get box from ??? amazon or ebay ??? if so then you got scammed and cant do nothing about it , what you going to do ring the police : my illegal sky stopped working and i was robbed of 200£ ...... this is why you should buy the box seperate from the cline , you can buy a skybox f5s which is a big step up in power from the f3 and there only 60euro and a cline for a year is around 90 so i am sorry to say whoever you got it off has robbed you :( ....... anyway thats not the bad news you can get a new cline for your box and get 1 that is paid monthly only!! so you dont be scammed , if you are interested in a new cline pm me and i can send you in the right direction :)

It all depends what the kids have changed in your settings. If you can't find out whats been changed,then you may have to start all over again. You can get the firmware from the Skybox section of this site, and there is a step by step guide on all the rest of it there as well. As for the sub, you'll need to ask for a help in the

Assuming that you are connected by ethernet cable. In the menu, go to Network local setting > network setting. Under Ethernet, click on Active, then click on Setup. Make sure DHCP is set to ON.
Under Network Local Setting, select Camds Setup. CCcam client setup > manage config files > CCcam.cfg. Make sure your gift line has a green tick next to it & it is showing ONLINE.
In the Network Apps menu, does the YouTube app bring up a list of titles when you click on one of the selections down the left hand side? This will show if your internet connection is OK.

I have just bought a skybox s3 had a play and discovered that there is no ccam files at all. All channels are $. Do I need a new box or can I fix this?? Thanks in advance
