Logitech Universal remote and Zgemma

I have got the Harmony 650, with a bit of trial and error have got this working quite nicely (Wife user friendly). My combination is, the Z Gemma box, Sony TV, Samsung Soundbar, Raspberry Pi, Xbox & Amazon Firestick. I created an activity for the Watch TV button which powers on the TV, Zgemma & Soundbar, I can turn up the volume on the sound bar easily and from the screen on the remote I've programmed buttons for the different HDMI channels as I found the activities for other devices just didn't work consistently.

On the remote screen I've also programmed the FileList button from the Zgemma so I can get to my recordings quickly. Taken quite a lot of effort to get the remote working as I'd like it to, but finally happy!

Hi, thanks for the reply.

It will be useful to get it working. Was curious, did you use the "magic" code way of getting it to work or did you find a code?

Logitech harmony remotes are updated by plugging into usb and connecting it to a database, there might be a zgemma profile already on there that you can upload to the remote, you can also select what buttons do
I have used Logitech harmony remotes with all my box`s including a vu duo and an icloud 2 plus box

From memory, using the Harmony app (awful SilverLight app!) I've just selected the brands of the devices I've connected. When there have been button functions that didn't work, it didn't like my AV inputs, I chose to fix a button and using the IR on the remote did the combination of buttons to change the input and this then worked fine.
It has taken several attempts to get working though as when syncing the app it failed at 99%, several reboots and uninstallation of drivers and it begins to sync.

I use this harmony remote (harmony companion/smart remote) and it comes with a hub and can be programmed using the harmony app on app stores.

There is a zgemma h2s profile already in there database along with other zgemma and enigma2 boxes.

Use a harmony touch over a HD Anywhere hdmi matrix switch with absolutely no issues.
