right guys need some help - i purchased a multi line, one box is using cccam and working fine, the other box is using mgcamd, i have gone onto the box using mgcamd via dcc what do i need to change there is no cccam.cfg file on that box i may be getting confused !, thx
 
Depending on image you are using the cccam.cfg file will either be in usr/Keys (open ATV image) or the etc folder (Vix image)
 
You need to edit the newcamd.list file for a N Line and use a cccamd.list file for a C Line. Do NOT try to use MGcamd and CCcam together, it can confuse them, just use MGcamd or CCcam. As you have MGcamd already, use that and ensure that the mg_cfg file is configured to allow CCcam.

Then you can set which line to read 1st from the priority, in this case the N Line

Code: 
# network shares priority
# 00 gbox, newcamd, cccamd, radegast, camd3 (default)
# 01 camd3, radegast, cccamd, gbox, newcamd
# 02 cccamd, newcamd, camd3, gbox, radegast
P: { 00 }

Change this value to 02 to read the C Line before the N line

right i will probably get told off for posting these details, here we go, this is what i have via mgcamd:-
CWS_KEEPALIVE = 60
CWS = tv.*******sat.co.uk 33633 V***E FGT6 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1 - this line is due to expire,
i want to replace the line with this one:-C: ,ddddddddd. 20221 Jaord12 5c3babc

Need to alter a couple of things,these posts above are confusing me and i know what im doing i think:woohoo: Jason you wont have a cccam.cfg file on your box if it has never had one on there,i will try and explain with a little guide for you,this depends on what firmware your using openatv/openvix ect,i will do it for openvix and its more or less the same on openatv

1) connect your box via dcc
2) go into plugins on the box and then go to softcams,download cccam 2.3.0
3) you then transfer your cline details over to the etc folder and save
4) go into softcam manager and activate cccam 2.3.0 and bingo

Please delete your line details before the mods see it or they will ban you for sure,also you will get guys putting those details into their box looking for a free line and your provider will not be happy,no get out of jail cards here,all members are valued on the forum and its an easy mistake to do so dont worry to much as wheelo is brutal but has a soft side to LOL CHEERS LES

Then you make a cccamd.list file with the C Line in it

I have obfuscated the details because if anyone else uses them you will not connect to the server and will likely get the line banned. You should treat your C Line like your Internet banking username and password. It wouldn't surprise me if these lines have been banned already

Dont come crying to me when you cant get on the server cant believe anybody would do that if that line is barred it will not be getting exchanged.

There are two breaches of rules in your post too dilly, abusing other members, and posting (by quoting) line details.
Yes the OP made a mistake, but you reported it and it is sorted now, but you compounded it by requoting all the line details, requiring me to edit your post too.

So now the question is - shall I ban all three ?? Answers on the back of a fiver - addressed to me at TK Towers.

Sorry wheelo it wont happen again. Was half asllep on way to work and to be honest completely shocked someone could be so silly to do that. anyway sorted now would rather not get banned but understand broke the rules was actually coming ro edit it then.

It would seem to me that you posted your server details, it was used by several people at once and it got banned. I don't think you were ripped off, I think you learnt a (probably costly) lesson in what not to do with your line details.
As for the abuse, yes you were called an idiot, and I dealt with it.
 
All I want is a refund for the line I had for approx. 2 days, even tried to escalate via paypal!!! plus the email abuse I have received here are some of the quotes from the line provider:"Hahahaha that didnt work did it you muppet " "Takes a diffrent kind of stupid to advertise your line on a open forum o well £30 from you then another £30 when i sell your line again so nice one" Booo hoo looks like i win "

posting line details of server is not his fault if you get banned and muppet maybe step too far.
why do you think everything is only by pm and not public?

line will be of no use to anyone as it wont work,only thing that might happen is a permanent ban.


hmm reread post again and sounds like someone rubbing salt into his wounds after not seeing the " quote " the first time.
