How you doing guys looking for a bit of advice. Not sure if i'm allowed to use brand names so just incase at the moment I get my tv from a box that sounds like vivo. I'm thinking of getting a skybox f5, can someone advise if this box is a good choice and exactly what else I would need? I don't have a dish at the moment but I can get one installed into 3 rooms through a friend of a friend. Does the f5 box have wifi as my router is in my living room. Any help is much appreciated and if I used any words i'm not supposed to then I apologise, first post.
 
i would get powerline adapters b4 wifi dongle also a better boxes than f5 cheapest single tuner enigma box 55 quid zgemma
 
Thanks Al but as I understand it powerline adaptors have to be on the same circuit to work do they not? My living room is downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs but I know that my electrics are def on separate circuits. Would that £55 include all I need to receive all channels and how long would the gift last for for that price?
 
The new Openbox V8 pro works fine with wifi dongle and cost @ £40.
You have to buy a gift separate and for 12 months can cost between £20-50.
 
That price is just for a sat box FTA, no gift included in that, and gifts or not free you have to pay a subscription. I think you need to have a good read on this forum to understand what you or getting.
 
Cheers for the replies guys, would any of you be able to message me? If there is a box I can get that works through vm rather than getting a dish installed that would be a better fit for me as all the cables are already in place.
 
The V8 Pro works on cable as well as satellite.
Find the Reapers report on it posted recently in Openbox section.
 
Sorry I apologise in advance, I'm really new to all of this and can't even find out to write my own post on here for help.. I have a Openbox V5, I've completed the channel list upgrade and upgraded the box but I'm only getting normal channels and on the movies/sports its constantly saying scrambled. Can anybody suggest anything for me to do to get it working please?
