Question about Communal satellite

Hello everyone, I have a communal satellite outlet, which has the sockets named 'TV' and 'Satellite'. I ran a F type splitter for the satellite to share the feed with an OpenBox V8S and a Sky Digi Box. However I came to realise that some channels like Sky news on the sky box began to not work saying not satellite signal being received. So I knew it was the F type connector. Now my question is Can I run this aerial female adaptor F Connector Socket to RF Coax Aerial Female Adapter, to get all of the channels on my V8S I already have an N line. Will the TV port support all channels such as BT and Sky channels?

Thank you

depends how it is setup but if it only has 1 sat screw connection on the wall then you only have 1 connection from the distribution system, the aerial female connection is more than less digital tv only but sometimes the distribution sends sat and freeview through each cable so maybe worth trying from aerial connection see if you get a picture, but you cant split a satellite feed unfortunately

It is aerial, I had just connected the V8S using coax to a female RF to go into the aerial connector, I get no signal on channels like BBC london. However if I use the same connection on my YouView box it picks up all BBC channels and Dave etc. Do you think it is a voltage issue? I may have to get the No signal Fix form ebay.

Thanks

Tried the Aerial Some channels come such as Sky sport 2 but not SS1 which is weird. I am guessing it is a voltage issue may have to get the No signal fix from ebay.

Try.. Menu.. and scroll across to antenna set up and check your signal strength.. if below 50 can cause problems.. i have a pal who also has a communal dish and her signal strength borders on 48 to 51 even with a no signal fix.. all the channels work except disney ones in kid section.. even with latest channel list..! Ps take the outlet off the wall and if there is a connector there take it out and connect your wire directly. Had to do that on another setup as the connector was faulty..

have you tried using the output connection on the openbox to feed input 'A' on your shy box?

Do you mean the loop?
