openvix is an Enigma2 image, what have you loaded?

Free tv.ie basically irish free to air by the looks of things. Since then I can't seem to download anything from pluggings should I hit the power button at rear of box as soon as plugin has finished.

i would say you put openatv on if you cant find the softcam settings
and no dont turn it off by switch at back only use that when you have put the box to a deep sleep or you can mess the box up same as a pc :)

personlay for ease i would try openvix on your box as it seems to be the simplest one to setup

Thanks for post dnd advice. Ya I agree open vix was definitely easier to operate but how do get rid of freetv.ie will it delete automatically when uploading open vix also do I have to download open vix onto usb then upload to stb.

flashing a new image wipes all previous data off box,no it does not delete the recordings.save line details first.
yes get image from wos download the file and extract to a 8gb kingston usb and follow the guides for flashing.

Yes I'm back in open vix thank god thank god666, I don't have any lines to save that's what I'm trying to achieve. Iv half set up ftp to send cccam configuration file over to box but know one can tell me in what order do I put my client's details in can someone please send me a picture for dummies.

i would think first download plugins and softcam cccam 2.30 and install,then your CCcam.cfg to etc.

Ah so what do people mean download plugins is there a plugins to download in plugins. Iv managed to link stb to my laptop but will do as you said in order . I can find ccam 230 ok but you mentioned plugins before?

when setting up new boxes just flashed the extras are got from the " download plugins " from vix menu all via your remote.without a softcam like cccam or mgcamd box cannot open encrypted files.

Ok sweet I use c line client is 230 the only cccam I need to plugin. Do I then put green tick in box. The other clever bit that is beyond me I apparently right click etc in right side of fileziller then if I'm correct somehow drop my configuration file in their and then it somehow ends up on the stb crazy shit isn't it clever though

all done by power of a ftp program,yes only need one cam on box and yes green tick.

bees did a tut using mgcamd but the idea is the same.

you will need filezilla client on pc to use.

I downloaded fileziller client onto laptop. Put my ip address in and it says file transfer successful? The bit I don't understand is you put your clients details in ccam configuration file before you send to box how dose it read it does it matter what order you enter details in configuration knowon will shed light on that please may you explain?

you can send over an empty file to etc and in etc click on edit and insert your details inside your file save and exit out.
read bees thread as that what its like.

Again so it doesn't matter in what order you put your details all I had to Wright in was c:****** then some numbers I then just put them in .
Is there now an option in setup to put line details in? I had a brief look at the bees link some helpful tips with region select but no line imputation details?

copy and paste the line given to you by provider,once details are in the etc folder that is your box just setup your cam via blue button.

He or she just email's the address port I'd etc can I copy it from email? And some how paste onto fileziller? Bloody he'll it's okay for you guy's my computer knowledge is shocking

yes copy and paste as in right click with mouse and right click to paste into that location

remember you have to edit the file to open and paste

Il give it go, just tried typing it out in a continuous line rather than sections dose it matter about hash keys and numbers that are already on configuration file I know you keep the c: ? ?
