Strange issue with f3s box

I have tried for a few years now to get this box to work, re flashed this box and many others.... The problem is the re flash is not fixing the box, the issue being that after re flash and updates of channel list ect, the box works fine until it receives a picture on a channel, the box will stay on the channel for roughly 20seconds before freezing, during this time im unable to change channel or enter the menu screen, i have tryed everything but there must be a simple solution or something i am not seeing here

Any advice is much apreciated i hope ill be able to fix it soon

Years!!!? Why dont you just get a new box?

Iv had a few different boxes, i've two at the moment.
Its a project i keep going back to
I like to fix things.... or not in this case.
Would just love to know what is up with it as iv fixed many before and im sure it will be something of nothing
 
Try a early erom upgrade tool with the earliest f5s/f3s firmware----do not install a channel list, instead do a single sat blind scan.

I tryed this earlier today with the very first and second updates on the skybox website, no luck again unfortunately
 
The f3s can use the same files as the f5s and the early f/w for the v5s----but the quick freeze etc on your box indicates a chipset problem with incoming power, you most probably tried a different psu but always worth a try---if you contact me via e-mail, I have a few unpublished f/w you can play with.
