Why is sky sports 1 2 and other channels scrambled and others not

Hey guys new to this but my sky sports 1 and 2 are scrambled and 3 works fine and so do other channels they work or dont work. My line is active and working fine. I also have updated the channel list via usb.

Any help would be great thank you

Which channel list did you use and where did you download it from ?
 
Download the latest list from the skybox sticky section on here under channel lists.
Find the post by cdub74 and use that list.
It is the CWAITES list which is used by most people and the safest to use.
Make sure you always reformat the USB drive before downloading as well.
 
Just another tip you should always delete the old list first of your receiver before installing the new list, Just in case of any Mis match error that may occur between different channel lists and how they are laid out

Hi there. Did you manage to fix this. I'm am experiencing exactly the same. I have always updated openbox through ajsat without issues. But now I have half ppv chanel work and have with no signal and I've no idea why. I've been told to scan single satellite blind search which have done but still no success. Sky sports 1 3 4 5 and ssn don't work yet sky sports 2 have 60%signal and works fine. BT sports fine no euro sport. No sky 1 no sky Atlantic yet have sky Atlantic +1.

Any help out there for me. When did sat search most said ok but some did say fail. Is this normal.? I have never updated firmware since purchased could this help.
 
Superslinger...Read the advice in my post no 4.
You need to first load a known good channel list to see if that cures your problem.
Most people with channel faults have used the AJSAT list which often appears to cause problems.
Please post the outcome if you follow these guidelines.

I will let and I'll let you know shortly. Hopefully maybe some issue with ajsat list as did seem to start going funny after downloaded updated list. Never used cwaites list.

Am I best deleting existing channel list? Also do I need to do another channel scan or simply delete current list and add news list on?

Hi,

Tried the above advice but still the same outcome. still numerous channels say no signal whilst many still work
 
Reflash a USB and download list.
No need to delete as it overwrites.
No scan required afterwards.

Can you try the box elsewhere ?
Sounds like you may have an LNB issue/Dish problem.
It may need tweaking.
Other option is to try a new correct power supply as they can cause similar issues.

Also worth trying a firmware reflash in case it's cobbled.
Obtain the correct version download from the YOJIATECH site.

Hey guys i downloaded the latest chan list and still no joy, i have 2 boxes and both with the same software and chan list yet some channels on 1 work and some on the other say scrambled. Can any1 advise me on what i can do ? They both where working fine until a few weeks ago. Thnak you
