Zgemma H.2S Streaming with Openwebif - is transcoding possible?

I have now had my H.2S for a couple of weeks and am so impressed with it compared to my previous Openboxes!
Having installed Sucmnsee's brilliant image and done a little tweaking it is now my primary box and perfect for everyday use.
In the last couple of days I started playing around with Openwebif for streaming and it is awesome. I started by simply streaming on my home network before setting up Dynamic DNS and port forwarding to allow me to access and stream from anywhere. I can access from my Samsung phone using the free Dreamdroid app and VLC. I now also have it running perfectly on my Kodi box upstairs using the VU+ PVR addon and that has worked so well it has now replaced the Openbox in my bedroom.
My only issue is that I know there will be times when my internet away from home will not be up to full streaming. I have seen discussion of a transcoding plugin for Enigma2 that allows a second transcoded stream on port 8002 alongside the normal stream on 8001. Does anyone know whether this can work on a H.2S? I don't have the plugin on my box and can't see it in the lists. I imagine it's unlikely as I know it requires serious grunt to transcode and if it's been packed into this wee Zgemma it'd be the best 80 bucks anyone ever spent! But if anyone knows for sure or has even tried it let me know..

The Transcoding will not work on any of the Zgemma's they are just not up to it i believe the first trasncoding Box was the Vu Solo2 which had the correct chipset to do the transcoding as well as the Gigablue Quad and the Duo2, those receivers run actual Dual core 1300mhz CPU's the Zgemma H series the old ones run a 750mhz cpu and the new ones are just dual hyperthreading 750mhz cpu not enough grunt to do Transcoding

Thanks FreeUK, that's much as I thought. It seemed pretty unlikely that a box at this price would have that much power - The features it does have are astounding value for money. The standard streaming option works well on the home network and when I have a decent 4G signal so that's a pretty good feature I didn't even know about when I bought the box...

Can you capture the stream on a pc or server in your house and transcode with VLC? Just an idea...not sure if it would work!

Look into Enigma2 Transcoder.

I had it running on a run on a ubuntu server with mixed results. My hardware is old so that's probably why. If you can work out your what bitrate would ideal for for 2/3 of your upload total upload connection the I'd say you get pretty good results.

Let me know of you have much success
