Anyone can beat anyone in the premier league on their day, happens every season and always will.
Yup and why rangers or celtic would finish in the bottom half, pub football in scotlandTrue and why it'sost unpredictable and best league on the world.
Scottish football has been going on a downward spiral for many years due to hardly any investment in football there especially grass roots level.Yup and why rangers or celtic would finish in the bottom half, pub football in scotland
Deffinatly has used to be a good competitive league when I was growing up used to like watching spl now got boring over yearsScottish football has been going on a downward spiral for many years due to hardly any investment in football there especially grass roots level.
Says what you want rangers and Celtic are huge clubs and their standing in football isn't disputed even if the league itself is of poor quality nowadays.

If you stuck them in the premier league, initially bottom half, however given the crowd they get each weekend, with the money that the premier league clubs get, onc they began spending it, given their size, with 18 to 24 months youd expect top 6, dependent on manager ofc
Tbf they still produce the odd decent player. Andy Robertson and Kieran Tierney are up there with the best LB's in the league imo
I'm a bit lost as to what your point is here regards the top 2 teams in the Scottish League. It's not the fanbase that's in question, its the marketing and pulling power of the old firm worldwide. Couple this up with lets say 90/100 million just for staying in the league. How would FFP play work then given that Celtic have no debt and Rangers are in debt I believe to the tune of 16 million soon to be wiped by the European money brought in this year/The premier league money pit is from sky and bt tv. Years back the old first division was flooded with top class scottish players, every team had em but nowadays they are few and far between.
Never doubted the fanatical gers and celts fanbase but the players just wouldnt cut the mustard in the premier league. All in my humble opinion of course
Is the influx of foreign players stopping the growth of english players in the premier league?
Didn't Arsenal once field a team with no englishmen in it?
