just make a bootlogo with this tool

add picture to add bootlogo
add screen size 1920 x 1080
convert to mvi

add ip address your box ip
user: root
pass: root

then send converted logo's
reboot box.
see your new bootlogo

I don't know your specific machine, but can you not do a backup from one and put it on the other??

hi, i know what you saying its 2 zgemma boxes but one came with a zgemma remote and with a old cloud ibox style remote. the problem being the one with the cloud ibox remote will only work with certain images something to do with the kernal. i use apollo166 but if i put that on the box with the older remote. the remote wont work

thanks thats great do yous know where i can locate bootlogo_wait reboot and switchoff and shutdown so i can change mvi files

I used xorion boot make.
I sucessfully sent logo as i got the message sucessfully sent!!
But i dont know where it is stored and how can i install it.

it will install it self
you will need to reboot your box. maybe twice so you can see it

for mac users. you can use idreamx to do the same thing

For any you install through Orion etc, make you uninstall any through plugins that you installed

If you can access your box with "Filezila" you can do a "F3" to search server files. with mvi as part of file name to locate the various locations.
For VIX image you will need the backdrop.mvi and the bootlogo.mvi files as these are displayed one after each other on Boot sequence.
With VIX the plugin download usually go to /etc/enigma2 directory. but the originals are in /usr/share .
I deleted the plugin down load files .mvi files in the /etc/enigma2 then checked that the old boot logo was showing from the /usr/share/ location.
That showed that the originals worked and then I uploaded the backdrop.mvi and the bootlogo.mvi files I wanted over them.
Its a bit confusing as whatever logo's you use they have to have the backdrop.mvi and the bootlogo.mvi file names. I had to keep each set in separate directories named with the logo details.
Best to do an image backup before you start.

I am trying to change my bootlogo on my zgemma with a Mac. I can't seem to find a program that runs on Mac. So I tried the manual way, but can't find anything that will convert JPG to MVI for Mac. Any suggestions please?
