VM not working WOOSH BB6

Hi guys. Having problems here. Doing im first h2h (i am familiar with the h2s and can set up no problems) and im struggling with a few things.

1. i have followed the set up guides and pointed my tuner at the correct net id for barnsley but no channels.

2. i cant install my line for some reason. tried doing it the same method as a h2s via usb importer but its not recognising my usb stick and line.

if anyone can help then id appreciate it
 
I'd hope so mate. I do plenty of sat ones using the same method by wooshbuild. I can't even get the freeview bbc 1 and 2 channels showing. Can't fathom out if it's me or the box

If you've not got BBC SD (Channel 101 or 108 with HD swap) then it's a tuner related issue - not a line issue.

Are you sure your VM connection is live in the cabinet (i.e. do you take broadband from them)?
If you're certain you're connected in the cabinet, then you need to be sure you've got the right NetID - do you have any neighbours with VM who wouldn't mind letting you check out their Tivo box?
You got the cable plugged into the correct tuner using the correct adaptor (Coax-to-f)?
 
I can't install the line anyway pal using the usb importer. Just not recognising my stick (I've tried 3). As for the tuner I have the right adaptor and I've tried various net ids for barnsley. Still no freeview. I can see in signal menu via service searching that I am 73% and the tick box is "ticked". I ain't a novice mate as I've done over 70 zgemmas but only satellite. Never cable

The cable is definitely live mate. I've taken it straight out of my mums vm receiver which is live.

Here's my process

I've installed basebuild 6 via USB

Then I've got to tuner settings and enabled tuner b whilst setting my net Id etc..

Then I've got to epg import and searched for the ryteks and then populated the epg. (No channel numbers tho just listings)

No freeview no nothing on mums tele.

Then I've tried to import my line using the same method I do on receivers like the h2s and 2s via USB importer which doesn't recognise anything.

When you sorted out the dvb-c tuner settings and put in the network id, did you then run auto bouquets maker?

Put the line on via your computer network - simplest of ways.
 
I've got it going sort of. Usb cam importer doesn't work at all and neither does mgcamd softcam. Had to ftp via cccam which sorted it. I did have to go through ABM Ste which I didn't do before. I can't find skysports boxoffice tho. I'm still not happy 100% and will play around some more to get it right as I'm just using ABM and epg loader atm. I'd like bios image but it keeps crashing after I've flashed it at 50 when loading up.

green button to save
go into your abm select providers
virgin uk area 40962 make all your changes and green button to save settings
start scan...
