Please anybody no how to scan virgin channel plz

First time i've seen this box but I would imagine if
you look through the menu there will be a place to input
your net id and symbol rate, and then scan.

in your tuner setup, if there's no net id then you'll need to add the symbol rate and frequency for your area and do a manual scan

Amiko boxes call the Net id Frequency

Is there anything like that ?

Never seen a box that doesn't need the net id adding before it can scan on cable.

Just had a look on Google, this box is a DVB-T2 / S2 tuner and doesn't do cable (Freeview and Satellite only).

The DVB-T looks like a cable hybrid so it will do cable and terestrial

I would at least expect it to state somewhere in the specs but there's no mention of dvb-c at all.

when you scan this I assume you get nothing, have you tried symbol rate 6887

6952 for bolton only got 5 channels

You should get a full list of channels but you would need to get a
line from a cable server to get any more channels clearing.

You don't get loads of FTA channels on cable

Just BBC 1, 2 ITV CH4 CH5 all in SD.

Where did you find this image? If it's only on 1 site, probably incorrectly labelled - i've checked on loads of site that Google directed me to and still no sign of dvb-c
