Vu+ Uno 4k with cable FBC

Hi
looking for some advice please
thinking of getting a uno 4k cable with FBC (8 demodulators)
at the moment im running solo2 with 1 x turbo tuner on vermin + ccam line
1. will vermin standard line feed allow me to use the 8 channels to record / watch etc....
2. should my line cover all 8 channels as in one box or will i need extra / multiroom ?
any thoughts are appreciated

A single cable feed will serve all 8 tuners, there's only one physical tuner connection.
Most lines will cover 2 tuners, I would speak to your provider.

I have the same box as my main box and it's great box but remember the tuner is just DVB-C and not DVB-T2/C so if cable goes at any point the box is no good for Freeview unlike boxes that have the DVB-T2/C tuners that can be used for either cable or freeview.

thanks, that is something i had not thought about
assuming your using a line do you have multiroom or does one line surfice

I have a line on mine but I have never recorded more than 2 encrypted channels at once.
I mainly record channels 1 - 5 in SD on it.

as said most providers only allow 2 tuners, some may be lenient it it's not abused. I'm like @Willo3092 in that very rarely do I have more than two tuners being used, it may happen now and again for a few minutes if programs being recorded overlap, ie one recording starts at 19:57 while another recording ends at 20:03 and I'm watching football or something.
