So my old tv died this weekend. Thinking of going for a Smart tv and putting iptv sub on it. Any recommendations for which tv is Best? Only get one shot at this so want to get best bang for my buck.

I believe only LG, Samsung, Sony and Hisense will work on IPTV via a smart TV. I have an LG but I don't like the IPTV apps, so I still use a separate box.

Android TV would be much better in my opinion.

Over Xmas I purchased a Samsung Qled tv and have just installed the iptv app ..working really well no need for a box !

Time for a new TV for me also. Had a look at a few and confused. Whats better OLED or QLED and going to give me longer lifespan?

Looking at Samsung and LG.

I have a Samsung and it’s a really good tv had it almost 1 Year ..at the same time my daughter went for Sony and I would say her picture does seem a little better than mine
I have a philips tv android 4k very good tv

We have a LG 4k it succeed our full HD model earlier this year which after 7+ years is still going strong in the bedroom both of them new weighed in at just over £400 new from ebuyer so decent price wise also.

I've got Sony bravia 4k UHD tv cost me just under a grand 3 hdmi 3 usb ports pc connection can cast to it from phones can split screen so can watch TV and use my pc at same time only downfall is no propper app store to download apps and wall mounting bracket expensive lol

Do Sony still do the Android models?

Bought a 4k lg tv from argos and took it back as i did'nt like the picture quality. Changed it for a samsung curved model but they give me the wrong samsung tv. They give me £150 better curve samsung series 7 model!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic picture and i wont be returning this one lol

Had no issue with LG but a few settings picture wise do need adjusting to get the best out of it. Got to love a bargain like that, a guy I work with ordered a a 32" model from very and they bought him a larger model with a worth £200 more by mistake and never charged him. Some guys have all the luck :grimacing:
