If I buy a motorized satellite dish can I use the sky ONE with it as the sky lmb is a quad lmb? Or do I need to buy a new one?

No it's not skyq it's being on the dish for years. I seen a 80cm dish with motor on eBay for £59. But it only has a 1 lmb out out.

If you are keeping your sky dish 1 LNB might be enough, you can always swap the LNB over, also it has to be set exactly so you might need a Satellite installer to put it up.

Unless your dish is going to be easily accessible then it can be a nightmare to line up a large motorised dish up a ladder.

1 feed is enough unless you want to record one channel whilst watching another.
I set my 1.1m dish up myself. Easy if you can find 0.8 & then adjust for best signal with a signal finder with tiny, incremental changes. Mine isn't on the roof btw.

you shouldn't use sky mini dish lnb with full size dishes it makes it pointless even having a larger dish because the lnb is designed for that shape dish only.

Not true, if aligned to 0.8, lnb should be positioned perpendicular to the ground & skew for the other satellites will be set by movement of the dish

yes it is true learn about the design of the lnb.

sky mini dish lnb are not the same as standard dish it's about the shape the lnb are designed for the shape to optimise them.

inside sky mini dish lnb it is oval standard dish is circle so if you was to place the different lnb on other dish it is not doing it's job due to it's field of view will be off you can not change this by messing about.

open them up you will see i bet there is pictures on net as well.

The lnb from the sky dish will be at a different angle to the one supplied with the dish,Ask the dish provider for the correct one for multi feeds,Only be a few quid extra
