2S stuck on FLSH?

My 2S arrived today and I'm flashing with Sucmnsee's Vix image. I copied the zgemma folder to the USB stick, inserted the usb stick into the rear USB and powered on the box, and it started to flash.
It's been going for 40mins now, and is still saying FLSH, and ocasionally flashes up with boot for a fraction of a second.
My Star S only took about 10mins, so it looks like something's gone wrong somewhere.

I don't want to screw the box up, so has anyone got any suggestions, or is it just a case of leave it alone ?

Am I ok to just pull the USB drive or will it brick the box ? I'm assuming the flash has failed (doesn't like the USB stick or something).
 
Just done that, now it's just on boot, nothing else. I assume I can still try flashing again from another stick ?
 
I think sucmnsee needs to check his latest image. Lots and lots of problems on here all of a sudden
 
I've downloaded mtpockets to try that, just low level formatting the USB stick.
The same image and stick worked perfectly fine on the Star S :o
