I am about to embark on a project to make my BM5000s multi-satellite.
I do not want to mess with my current dish, a S*y 80cm (zone2), mini-dish pointed at 28.2E. I have good signal strength at present and other boxes are reliant on this dish.
My plan is to fit a new dish at least 80cm, and aim it at Hotbird (13E) and Astra (19E). I am not going to use a monoblock, but moreover two lnbs attached to the dish, and then fit a diseqc switcher and feed all three lines into the BM5000s......
Can anyone see any major hurdles with this plan?
I have considered a motorized option thus reducing the number of feeds to the BM5000s, but as I only really want the extra two satellites, I do not see the extra need.
Also how easy is it to set the BM5000s to recognise the extra feeds....
