Adding a line on a V8s

I'm in the process of moving over from a Zgemma to an Openbox V8s. Is it the same procedure for adding a line to the Openbox as it is for the Zgemma star?

I've actually just put a line on a V8s last night
I made thge line in geddit [I dont know what the windows alternative is called] and saved it as CCcam.cfg
dropped it onto a USB that was formatted in FAT32
plugged into V8s ,
menu > Camds setup > CCcam client > update by USB

in windows you just open a new notepad file, paste line details in save as>all files, name it CCcam.cfg, or newcamd.list if you're using a CWS line
