Hi im new to this, so sorry if it seems a stupid question.
But which file is it to download on blade?

Menu - Settings - Blade online - Pick Astra 28.2

Pick the ".CNDF" file for you area.

Let it load the channel list.

That's it !!

Works flawlessly on BM5000s. The cndf must be on your usb device for it to appear on the list.

Both boxes have the download channel list function. Using blade online.
Was wondering is the BM7000 channel list better than the BM5000 ?

Sorry if a stupid question, but if i update the channel list, presume with won't effect my current firmware or ability see the 9991 channel?

Just use the blade online function, you can see the dates they update the files.

It won't effect your firmware.

I can't either, the box will only see the config file and .ssu files on mine when reading from a USB stick.

Same here, must just be for the BM7000

Think so, all the file extensions are different, looks like they have
overhauled everything.

Can't watch recordings on BM7000 that are done on the BM5000 and vise versa.

Even the remotes won't work if you swap them over between the two boxes.

If they sort the 7 day EPG out soon I will sell my BM7000 and buy another BM5000 so I have effectively
got twin tuner capabilities.
