Alternative to Nvidia Shield TV

Hi all,

I am looking at purchasing an Nvidia Shield. However I am not interested in the gaming element of this device, only the streaming element. Would it be fair to say that part of the reason this device is so pricey is cos of the fact it does gaming as well? If so I wondered if there was a device out there which is as good as the Nvidia Shield at streaming but at a lower price as it doesn’t have the gaming capabilities? Ideally a device with full Android TV on it.

Any thoughts welcome cheers.

Are these boxes a true 4K image, as I know Netflix only certifies a few certain devices as being true 4K.
