Just thought id share how I recovered my what I thought to be bricked Amiko Mini HD Combo.
Yesterday I spent the whole day trying to recover my Amiko Mini HD Combo with a lot of help from Bees which I'm very grateful for so I thought id just tell you of how I recovered it, weather it is a fluke I don't know but this worked for me.
I thought at first I was having trouble with the remote not syncing with the box so I changed batteries.
Then I played around with the box switching it off and on just as it booted up if I pressed the menu button a menu screen popped up on the tv for a split second then disappeared this happened every time I turn the box on I just couldn't get that menu to stay on the screen long enough for me to put a password in very very frustrating.
So with the box turned on I switched the TV to RADIO from the remote control and rebooted the box so that when it booted up it was in Radio function NOT TV this then enabled me to press Menu and hay presto I could get into the menu to update firmware which we think was the reason for the initial problem of my box bricking
