Weekends and especially when the neighbours come round for a drink normally ends up a karaoke night at our house, we had always used an old Xfactor cheapo machine that our youngest had for xmas one year but found an awsome plugin on xbmc called MIKEYS KARAOKE, it streams loads of sunfly tracks and even hooks into Youtube so ya can have videaoke all for free. Just load xbmc on to your laptop, get the plugin from xbmchub.com, plug the hdmi lead in tv and off ya go, its also on fusion installer for xbmc which is just an easy way to get plugins, guide how to use that are everywhere too
