Anyone recommend cable reciever?

i currently use "skybox" reciever and it works fine. but moved house and only has virgin cable in the living room. what would you recommend?

get a Zgemma H2H and that will give you a lot more than amiko! or pretty much any box will get you more than amiko, basic box with basic features

Personally I would spend a little more (£138) and get one of these:

Technomate TM-Nano-SE M2 PLUS Enigma 2 Linux HD PVR TRIPLE TUNER Combo 1x DVB-S/S2 + 2x DVB-C Receiver

2 cable tuners + a sat tuner in case you ever put a dish up.

Depends on your budget but I'd want an internal HDD, 2/3 tuners and official VIX box with 2yr warranty if for your living room. Fast too. What tuners you after? Good suggestions so far though but we need more info.

Agreed internal hard drive and twin cable tuners are a minimum, you just never know when you might want to record something on another hd channel and once you've got it you'll never want to watch horrible sd again.

Just stick too official boxes from official sponsors can't go wrong u will get many years out of the box
