Cccam and mgcamd work in diff ways to do the same thing. Unscramble. Using the CCcam.cfg or newcamd.list with ur server details gives you a a frequent connection to the server which pings back what the cccam or mgcamd need to do the unscrambling. So they emulate how a Sky box unscrambles.

This is just based on what ive picked up and not fact :)
