AutoTimer and ServiceRef

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could assist; I have been trying to work out the relationship between autotimer.xml and serviceref, more of how autotimer.xml gets the serviceref? The reason I want to know is because I want to see if its possible to add new autotimer via SSH rather than the front end, which will then allow me to make my own website frontend to do recordings.
