Bad stuttering on all channels and interface

    Hi all,

My H2.S has been working a treat for several months now, but this week, for no apparent reason, it has started to stutter badly. The picture freezes for about half a second ever two to three seconds, and if I try to bring up the menu, it doesn't really appear until I start pressing the up and down controls, at which point menu items appear as the selection moves to their 'space' in the menu.

It's basically extremely slow to repond to any inputs etc.

I've tried picking channels that are FTA, so which shouldn't require any CCCAM access, and they're exactly the same as encrypted channels (we watch Polish stations and the dish is aligned to Hotbird). Even recordings on the PVR are very slow.

Has anyone any idea what may be causing this?

Very hard to diagnose remotely, but it sounds like something is hogging, more that its fair share, of CPU cycles.
Have you installed any extra plugins of late?
BTW what build are you using and are you keeping it up to date?
    Maybe time for a re-flash..........

have you tired turning it off and on again?

Y'know, turning it on and off again - as in, the switch at the back, not the 'sleep mode' activated by the remote control - has done the trick. Seems to be working fine again, thanks!

The build is pretty old, I have to say. I should re-flash it.

    Thanks for your help, people.

I had this yesterday. Both on zgemma h2s boxes. One running woosh v6 and one running woosh v7. (Both sat lines) Turned both off via white button and it solved the issue, 24hrs later and still running fine.
