I went out last night and came back in and tried to watch something I'd set to record but found the box had recorded 2 hours of a black screen. It seems that the box had recorded the channel as required but that for some reason didn't pick up the signal. It has happened before but I just put it down to being a one off. Is this a tuner issue, firmware or is there a setting that I have wrong on the box?
