BM5000s with 9991

Very similar to the BM7000s, single tuner, one button timer record function, build quality
looks almost the same from the outside. Menus are slightly different but easy to navigate.
Youtube/ Youporn/Redporn all work but i'm more interested in the footy to be honest.

Load a line manually or by USB, 2 USB ports, as I believe a WiFi dongle is due out soon too.
(I have always used homeplugs)

When they release the 7 day EPG you will be basically getting a £150 box for about £80.
(Approx 2 weeks from what I have heard)

how i change the channel list i.e christmas channels rebrand back to normal and is there away to have the channel numbers the same as sky

also any news on the 7 day epg?
 
Disney is still down, it will be the same for everyone.

You can do an automatic or manual scan on the satellite, you don't have to wait
for a channel list, but it's still not working.

You will get a "scrambled" message to show you are on the right frequency
instead of the "no signal" message.
 
do you know why my just boomerang and boomerang+ 1 would go in and out of scrambled? kinda every minute, been like it for a week
 
Just got the BM5000s but cannot download the files on this site...not sure why...posted but still no access.

I am able to download the files on the Blade website, are those the same as the ones posted by Bees?

Just got a new 5000s ? dose this have the 9991 menu and the EPG ?
Any help on putting it into the box would be great

You don't need the firmware in the tutorial links anymore,
but the loading method is the same.

Load the ".ssu" file onto a pen drive.

Menu - Setup - Update and Back Up - Image Upgrade.

Pick the ".ssu" file and update the image.

Channel - Blade Online

Load the channel list for your area, eg, london, granada etc

Open the config file with notepad.

Paste in your line

C lines are at the top, N lines near the bottom, depending on what type you are using.

Menu - Setup - Update and Back Up - Image Upgrade.

This time pick the config file.

Reboot your box, it doesn't do it automatically.

Hold your breath and pace up and down a bit (optional)

There is no 9991 option like on the BM7000s, the line is entered by USB
with the config file provided. !!!! lol
